Tas: Search for fishermen resume today
A search will resume at first light today for two fisherman who've been missing since
late Friday, when their boat overturned on a popular trout fishing lake in Tasmania.
Searchers last night found the body of a third man on the boat, but a thorough search
failed to find his two companions.
Inspector CRAIG WATERHOUSE of the Tasmania Police Bridgewater division, says the man's
body was found in Arthurs Lake, in Tasmania's central highlands, at about 1pm yesterday.
Its discovery followed a search which began at about 7pm Friday after a boat was reported
overturned in the lake.
The search for the two missing men by the police diving squad, land search squad, helicopter,
state emergency service and inland fisheries officers will resume this morning.
