Qld: Prisoner brought back to Queensland
A prisoner who left Queensland illegally while on parole seven years ago is back incustody in his home state.
A spokesman for the Department of Corrective Services says WAYNE DENNIS ODGAARD wassentenced to four years jail in November 1994 for armed robbery and drug offences.
He was granted parole on Christmas eve 1995, but travelled interstate without permission.
The spokesman says ODGAARD was found in custody in South Australia in relation to other matters.
When ODGAARD was released in South Australia on November 24, he was arrested and returnedto Queensland last Friday.
