In 2003, Ivan Neville formed Dumpstaphunk with his cousin Ian Neville, Nick Daniels, Tony Hall and Raymond Webber as a way to perform a solo gig at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. That performance quickly gained legendary status. Since then, the side project has grown into the hottest funk band in New Orleans and beyond. The Ragbirds open at 10 tonight at Martyrs', 3855 N.
