NSW: Man dies in semi trailer collision
An 18-year-old man is dead after his car collided with a semi-trailer in far northern
New South Wales early today.
Police say the man's sedan swerved into the path of the truck on the Pacific Highway,
north of Murwillumbah, about 1am (AEDT).
The man died at the scene while the truck driver was taken to Tweed Heads Hospital
suffering chest pains.
He's in a satisfactory condition.
The accident closed a stretch of the Pacific Highway for more than five hours.
