WA: Second man charged over police station firebombing

Police have charged a second man over the firebombing of a Perth police station.

Joondalup police station was the target of an arson attack on Monday night when a ute
carrying a 220 litre fuel tank was backed up to the station's doors and set alight ..

causing extensive damage.

A 31 year old man from Heathridge was charged yesterday with two counts of criminal damage.

A 26-year-old man .. also from Heathridge .. has now been charged with various offences
.. including wilful damage by fire.

The pair are expected to appear in the Joondalup Magistrates Court today.
